The picture with the "Snaplight" word is not the product that I received. Instead, I received a similar product of the "Mayday" brand with a different packaging.
The Snaplight brand is from Cyalume, a more expensive brand. Even though this seller did not put Cyalume anywhere in the description, the pictures are misleading and false. The Snaplight brand also shows a yellow packaging with yellow light which doesn't match the green light description.
The product works and glows but not as brightly as Cyalume or other brands. You get what you paid for. |

We received this item yesterday and I believe it's the best deal out for the money. We have been searching for a pool skimmer for quite some time now and none of them come with a handle - The cheapest handle we have found was $20 at our local Menard's store. So a pool skimmer with a handle generally costs around $30 - This kit comes with a Skimmer, handle and a vacuum. We have a Summer Escapes 10' x 30" quick set ring pool (which I highly recommend as well).
The skimmer works as it should, nothing special but picks up debris floating on the surface well. The size is good and it works as expected.
The handle comes in 3 pieces and is about 5' long in total length. You simply slide each section into one another so you could shorten the length if you please. My wife actually set it up last night and it was a little loose when I inspected this morning. It was simple fix to push down firmly and twist a bit and in the end, it is lightweight and very sturdy (made of aluminum). She will probably have a hard time taking it apart now - ha!
The vacuum, at the time of purchase, I was skeptical about and honestly I did not think would work. I just got done using it for the first time and I am thrilled at its performance and how much sand and debris it has picked up. It really works and works very well. It even sucked up sand caught between seams on the bottom of the pool. My only complaint is that the vacuum bag could be a bit larger, but I suppose that could compromise its' performance.
The heads are a little difficult to change out; I used a small screwdriver to push in the tabs. But without the use of a tool, it would be nearly impossible. This is really no big deal in my opinion and does not compromise the performance of either the skimmer or the vacuum.
Overall, this kit is a great deal and I highly recommend it over other maintenance kits, simply for the price of about $25.

We bought one pack each of Roommates Education Station Appliqué and Jungle Adventure Peel and Stick Applique / Wall Decal Set to decorate my 1 year old son's walls, which are painted light blue/gray.
We really like the idea of using decals; they are so easy to remove and position, with no mess of paint! The only problem we have with the Jungle Adventure Set, as compared to the Education Station, is they are not as bright, crisp, and artistic. For example: the monkeys in the tree look grainy and dull, and the alligator too dark. Perhaps it was just a printing issue. Overall they pale in comparison to the Education Station stickers from RoomMates. All though, the little animals like the turtle, birds, and snakes went well against the white wall in our hallway; they also didn't appear as grainy. In the end we used a few of the animals from this set for my son to point at, but we used nearly all of the Education Station stickers, which also included letters and numbers and are much more fun and educational for little kids. |
