I was so excited to receive this pool so when we unpacked and laid it down on the cement floor to fill in water, we noticed there were leakage. Well, turned out, the bottom had a little whole (maybe from a tiny pebble on the ground), so we patched it with the patching kit provided and that seems to work but then found out that the top ring air was leaking as well. I had to return it....my son were a bit bummed out. The side material were nice and thick but the bottom is very thin. Have to be extremely careful where you lay this pool....without the bottom protector mat, it will rupture easily. |

I bought this for a new Coby DVD player that didn't come with a car adapter. It doesn't charge the DVD battery at all, even though I set it to the same voltage as the DVD battery. Also tried other voltages just to check, nothing happens on any of them, even though the red light comes on. The same DVD battery charges fine with the home adapter, and other electronic devices with their own chargers work fine in my car lighter. So, this thing is a complete bust, but not worth the money to return it. |

Purchased 3 units. The first was hooked up to the entertainment center and no matter how much I tweaked the calibration, it would not consistently power down the slave outlets. Even tried another device in the entertainment center as a control unit, but it wouldn't work dependably (power remained live on the outlets).
For my computer workstation, the control unit (computer) would successfully power down the slave outlets. However, after a period of time I would look in my office and see all three monitors had their orange Standby light on again. The strip would at some point re-power the slave outlets even though the control unit was still powered down.
Returned All Three Strips. |

I purchased this item from Amazon a few months ago based on all the positive reviews. Silly me should have known it was too good to be true. It does make knives somewhat sharper, though the edge doesn't last long. My main issue now is that the sharpening surfaces are not part of the metal fingers and one of them just fell off as I was using it. I guess I shouldn't expect anything else for the price. Guess I'm back in the market for a knife sharpener. |

I got this unit for my backyard, which was being overrun by squirrels, rabbits and crows.
I set it up in a raised area (about three feet off the ground) under my porch roof. Where I live it usually does not rain in the summer, so I figured the roof would be enough protection.
I definitely see less of the rodent population since I installed it - when I walked into the yard before there were probably a dozen rabbits and/or squirrels hanging out. I still see a couple, but they look nervous. :o)
But the main benefit seems to be with the pesty birds. There were four or five crows that would perch on my porch swing every day, and make a mess on it. From the very first day I turned the unit on they looked uncomfortable, and didnt stay more than a few minutes. They now seem to have decided to stay completely away.
I have also used the audible button to scare off flocks of small birds when they camp out.
I would guess the range to be about thirty feet from the unit - beyond that area the wild kingdom seems to be unaffected. :o) |

I bought these bits because I was replacing a friends decking and I wanted a new set. The quick connect appealed to me because with the decking, I needed to change between drilling and screwing repeatedly. The quick connect system was great for this.
However, the smaller drill bits all broke after about 30 holes drilled. The quick connect at the base of the smaller drill bits makes them pretty weak and the drill bit sits quite a ways out from the drill chuck because of the quick connect set which puts them under extra tension. And both the P2 drill bits broke after about 50 screws each. They just sheered off at the top.
Now I realise that doing decking is a pretty intense job (I drilled and screwed about 2000 holes) and I shouldn't have gone for a cheap set. I'm sure if you're just looking for a set to keep around the house for odd jobs here and there, they would be great. |
