| Reviews : { Rating: 3.5 out of 5 } | A/O Worktunes with digital Tuning I bought one of the older versions of this a few years ago and absolutley loved it. The old one required manual tuning. The new one is equally as great as far as drowning out the noise but I am not crazy about the tuning. You can preset channels but if you want to listen to others that are not preset it is kind of a pain to search. Also the AM band on the new set has a constant humming noise and is really hard to listen to. Since my father-in-law listens to AM more than I, I traded him the old version for the new version (his fathers day gift). Bad idea on my part. Still like the product as it does protect the hearing and the sound is pretty good. Would still recommend but if you can find the older version, go for it. Unless that is you are into the MP3, which I am not. |

I bought the house as a foreclosure and the yard was a mess. The first time using it took a while, but that was because I was trenching the lines. It kicked up a lot of solid dirt and clay. After the first cut, I was ready to go from there on out! Since then I've had clean lines and works easily! For the price, this is the best edger!! |

The light this thing emits is very dim, on a REALLY dark night it does help some, but not nearly enough. The lid doesn't stay where you put it, the mounting holes are on the large part, and there is no way to tighten the face part so it falls down over the motion sensor, making it useless. If you put it the way the picture shows, it falls... if I installed it so it's stright up, it stays, but the light shines AT you, instead of on the stairs where I need it, and in the dark, the LAST thing you need is light in your eyes, even as weak as these bulbs are. So on a scale of 1-10, you get a 1 for this one Sierra. Love to have my money back on this one. Jim C. Alabama |

After replacing the bateries, I don't remember how to turn the device on or off! There is a small rubber embosed on/off symbol on the side of one of the ear pieces adjacent to the volune plus and minus buttons. Pressing that (on/off) button seems to do nothing. There is no indicator like a light nor is there any apparent change in the sounds heard through the ear phones. I can't tell if I turned it on or off. I need some help. Incidentally, my Peltor model does not look like the current illustrations of the product. I probably have an earlier model. |
