I used my bullet faithfully every morning to make my smoothie - nothing else - just smoothies. Super simple and compact - even took it on a road trip it's so easy to pack/carry/clean up! BUT....it only lasted 4 months. It just died this morning. Now, that's just not right - products should last longer than 4 months even with daily use - and only once per day at that! I'm outside of the "return window" and I guess I'll have to go back to buying those clunky $29.95 blenders from a local retailer - at least they last 2 or 3 years, even with the hassle of clean up. Unfortunately the design of the blades are wrong. We chopped up an apple into small pieces and tried to make applesauce. What happens is the pieces get tossed over to the side of the cup and the blades wind up spinning uselessly in the middle. Among the obvious design defects, the 4 blade cutter does not bring the blades close enough to the bottom of the cup, and the blades are not long enough to reach towards the side of the cup. It almost seems the designers never bothered to test out their device. I did not have this problem with a different brand. Avoid this one. It's bad. I had to return it. Thanks for Amazon's return policy, but I still had to pay for shipping. |
