It worked great for this purpose - it lets in a lot of light, but obscures the view into my bedroom with an attractive, frosted glass look. It is a little challenging to apply without bubbles, but you get a lot of the stuff on one roll, so there is room to flub up once or twice and still cover several windows completely. Overall, I can't recommend this product more - it's far cheaper than products designed specifically for windows, but works exactly the same! It's also useful for covering books or surfaces that take a lot of abuse. |

We have been very happy with the product - in fact so much so that we ordered 5 more to give to our friends. The package arrived today and we were very disappointed with the quality of the new strainer. They appear to be fabricated from two pieces of metal (the flange and strainer are pressed together and are much flimsier than the original ones we ordered (three pieces - the strainer is sandwiched between two flanges; hence, flange on the new strainer is about half the thickness of the original one). Also, in our original purchase the strainers were individually packaged in plastic pouches and cardboard dividers. In this recent order, five strainers were loosely packed in a small cardboard box with no padding material. I don't know if RSVP purposely reduced the quality of this product or the seller substituted a cheaper product. There is no label on the product to indicate the manufacturer, but the invoice says "RSVP Endurance Large Strainer Standard". The word "Standard" is not indicated on the product description from the company. The bottom of these strainers are flat, whereas the strainers we got the first time have a curved bottom. The reason we bought from this seller was because they offered the best price on what was supposed to be comparable quality. |
