This is an affordable device that enables me to make things we love like crab apple butter that do not even exist in stores. It is work, no denying that and it will take time to produce finished product, but how else to get diamonds or gold but with efforts? My thinking is that I have no better use of my time than to do this for my family's enjoyment. Putting the strainer together is not hard, cranking the lever is no chore and it moves smoothly with steady motion, clean up is facilitated by complete breakdown of unit all parts reachable. I think I gave it one of the hardest jobs with the crab apples so I am definitely looking forward to using it with muscadine grapes next month for making jams and jellies! |

I didn't want junk. Can't beat stainless steel. Going to this web site helped me make my decision. Last week I ordered,today it came. I pulled it out of its' box and it was so simple I did not need directions. I clamped it to my bread board and practiced with it. Put a piece of rubber back/shelf liner under it to keep from slipping. Tonight I will have pasta with grilled chicken. Waiting to see how the recipe of 2 Cups of flour, 1 egg and 1/3 c. water turns out. I think the stainless steel, Italian made pasta maker will last for many years. Simple, economical and made to last. Happy Pasta you all. |

It is very easy to use and even easier to clean the interior section. I found that I can fry things quickly and they don't come out greasy as the one I had years ago did. Biggest surprise was that there was absolutely no smell and no grease splatter. I fried a dinner-sized batch of chicken tenders and still no smell. Took a few tries to time it right, the suggestions aren't terribly accurate. It took multiple batches to fry it completely, again the suggested times/size of batch didn't quite work for me. My biggest complaint is that I cannot clean the drain "hose" completely. I feel that I'm leaving a small amount of old, dirty oil in the drain hose. Tried using the implement that came with the fryer with no success. Not a huge deal, but one that does concern me. |

It cooked many many batches of buffalo wings and other things over the years, and always perfectly. I've tried the more complicated fryers with their fancy thermostats, lids, lift baskets, and other complicated and very hard to clean parts. One of them quit in less than 3 months of ownership. To be honest, I was glad it did. Forget that! Go simple! Get you a GranPappy. That's what I'm getting next. |

I am completely dissatisfied with this product. 1. Items such as sprouts, parsley, kale and chard get wound around the auger and just keep going around and around without extracting the juice and I end up with an auger full of pulp that never exits out of the basket area. 2. The juice leaks between the unit base and piece that houses the basket and the auger. 3. The juice is full of pulp. 5. The yellow tab that I close tightly to prevent the pulp and juice from going any direction except forward opens during the juicing process on its own and fibers come out the back getting stuck during the juicing process. 6 It simply does not juice drinkable wheat grass. There is so much pulp in the juice I have to strain it and then extract more juice from the strained pulp with the back of a ladle. This is the first review I have ever written about a product. I am very unhappy with this machine and the company I bought it from will not take it back. |
