I wasn't crazy about it being vinyl because I don't like the chemical smell it gives off or the lack of breathability, but because this was pretty inexpensive I gave it a try anyway. After washing the cover, I put it on the changing pad and it was a very tight fit, almost to the point of not fitting at all. Also, the vinyl exterior of the pad seems too loose and it wrinkles badly with a tighter-fitting cover, creating a bumpy place to lay the baby. I suppose if a person bought a really thick cover or one that didn't pull at the sides this wouldn't be much of a problem, but if you buy the cotton covers it doesn't really work well. |

Like clockwork, Amazon has them on my doorstep, saving me time and money. I have 2 systems for 3 cats and go through a case of pellets (6 bags) once every 2 months. The pads last me about 2.5 months, so every couple of shipping cycles I skip the pads. I bought this system because I was fed up with disgusting bits of kitty litter turning up all over my house -- on my pillow, in the sink, on the couch, YUCK! And sticking to my feet no matter how many times I swept up. ICK! Yes, the Breeze litter system is more expensive than clay litter. But it's worth it to me to not find kitty litter in every nook and cranny of my home. I put 1.5 bags of pellets in each litter box and change them once a month. They say 1 bag for each, but I think 1.5 does a better job of covering the box and the cats like to scratch in it. Is it more sanitary? Probably not. After all, the cats are still walking everywhere after they've been in the litter box. It's just less visually disgusting. Does it smell better? Yes! The pads soak up the urine and do a good job containing the ammonia smell. Unless they get too soaked. Then it's super nasty ammonia smelling. But really that's up to you to keep them changed. I go through 4 pads a week for 3 cats. The feces, on the other hand, isn't fun. The litter system isn't designed to coat poo in a de-stinkifying coat of clay to neutralize it like regular litter. So you've got to stay on top of the poo. Like dog owners do, I just put a plastic grocery bag on my hand like a mitten and pick up the poo and twist the bag shut. So if you have a cat with especially frequent, liquid or disgusting poos, Breeze might not be for you. But my 3 cats are middle aged and tidy and not that smelly in general, so once a day cleaning out the poo is usually good. Bottom line, yeah the poo is a little grosser and yeah it costs more, but you couldn't pay me to switch back to clay litter. I'm totally sold, especially with Amazon saving me time and money on subscribe and save. |

| Reviews : { Rating: 5.0 out of 5 } | Really Good Tasting Snack Bar - Highly Recommended! These "ThinkThin Crunch, Mixed Nuts and White Chocolate" snack bars are really good tasting! The flavor is a nice mix between the nuts and the white chocolate, with neither one overpowering the other. Being a type 2 diabetic, I try to watch my carb intake (especially sugar) and these are low enough that they are safe for a mid-day treat. Each Bar Has - Calories: 180 (100 from Fat, with 2.5g of Saturated Fat) Carbs: 12g Net (16g - 4g Fiber = 12g, with only 2g from Sugar) Protein: 10g It should be noted that these do contain Maltitol, which can cause "gastric distress" in some people. I ordered these in the summer and the white chocolate did melt and stick to the foil packaging on the first ones we opened since they were sitting on the porch for a bit before we got to them. This was not an issue for the rest after we got them inside and they sat for a day or so. The real test is if my picky kids will eat them, and they also like them as much as I do. Highly Recommended! The wipes clump together even worse, which use to be tolerable, and they seem drier. I didn't notice that they were smaller which probably intensifies the clumping problem along with being drier. I was very pleased with this product until the last shipment I received through subscribe and save. Needless to say, I have cancelled my subscribe and save subscription and hope they improve in the future. I hope you people who have had the same issues with this product go to their website and complain like I did. As far as downsizing the wipe to create less waste, I thought that was the purpose of being biodegradable. Plus you are not creating less waste if it takes 2+ wipes more of the smaller wipe to clean your child versus keeping the wipe slightly bigger like it was. |
