I found a reputable seller who left all the filter parts in the box, instead of taking them out and selling them to you seperately!!! Pros: Easy to use, Quiet, No more trips to the overpriced laundromat (except for large blankets) Cons: Easy to overload, MUST take the time to level the unit to minimize unbalanced loads First let me say, were I live the cost for me and my fiance to go to a laundromat cost nearly $25 for one and a half weeks of laundry. We purchased this unit for our small one bedroom apartment in hopes of saving some money each year. With the first month use we have already saved over $65 (or at least offset the cost of the machine by $65)!! At this cost to do laundry, this unit will pay for itself in under 3 month ($175) and after 9 months more will save us about $585!! It can easily handle a large pair of jeans, 2 large shirts, and 2 days of underwear; I have even had great success in washing queen sized bed sheets as long as I only wash one sheet (fitted or flat) at a time and a pillow case for one load. If you take the time to read the directions the machine is very easy to use and maintain properly. I did not have any problems with my unit when it arrived, unlike some people who were having issues with the water level not working correct. My thoughts, there are going to be some units that have issues, just like any other machine mass produced today, fortunately I did not receive one of the malfunctioning units! Bottom line: If you spend at least $200 at a laundromat a year (cost of machine plus electricity and water) and/or are in the need for a small washing machine, give this particular unit a try!! (And if you happen to get one that doesn't work right the first time, take advantage of return policies/warranties to get another, you just happened to be on the wrong side of a general statistic.) |

| Reviews : { Rating: 4.0 out of 5 } | Haan vs. Shark steam mop Before I order the Haan FS20 plus steam mop I had two Shark and they were both not working after 6 months or so (even it's under the warranty, it's not worth the $ and effort to get a replacement). The first Shark broke after 6 use and the replacement worked for about 6 months and no more steam is coming out (I was using distill water not tap water). This is my first use of the Haan FS20 and it work very well for the following reasons and I am not sure how reliable comparing with Shark. 1. The steamer works with ease, it glides on my hard floor with ease and with little effort. The micro pad is probably the reason that it glides with ease unlike the Shark pads. I have a 1200 sq ft apartment and two micro pads took care of the whole place instead of Sharks four pads. The amount of dirt or what not at the bottom of the micro pads were all pretty evenly distributed. 2. The adjustable handle helps in area where space is limited so you can adjust it to work in tight area and you can even use the mop going side to side instead of forward and backward motions. Note: During my first use, the out of water red light comes on way sooner then it really should (water was half full). The base where you attached the handle is made out of plastic so it does make it a bit weak like the Shark so don't put too much pressure or it might just split or crack. |
