I do understand that this item is under $8 with free Amazon Prime shipping but I would have expected it to last more than one day without coming apart. One of the seams is splitting on the "binder" which will render it useless soon. If not for the tear I would rate it four stars for the functionality, the built in stand works good. The case does cover the light sensor, so you have to manually adjust the brightness, but that's OK for $8. Would not purchase again. |

The one that came bundled with my projector was a little too short and un-flexible because of it's thicknes. This one, however, is quite flexible and just the right length. It might not last forever due to it's skinniness, but for under a buck, what more could you ask for? |

as everyone has said, it is slow coming on and changing channels, but the only thing I find a problem is the sleep timer. It is so small on the screen, I cannot see it from my bed, I bought it for a tv in the bedroom and I always use it and set the timer. Still a good buy. |

I received my Canon CLI-8 4-Color Multipack Ink Tanks that were sent in a thin cardboard box in a bubble lined package. The package had been left in my mailbox for hours. It is 95 degrees right now with a heat index of 99.5 degrees. When I opened the package, the box had been damaged on every side, and top and bottom. I took pictures because it was so bad. This would have been avoided if the sender had shipped the item in a box.
I would rather pay full price than deal with this kind of service.
The bad thing about this is the inconvenience even if the sender offered me an exchange or refund.

Hello!
I anxiously awaited this camera because I had previously had a leaky waterproof Olympus camera. I had previous been very loyal to Canon and Nikon, and I regretted going to Olympus and having trouble. So was quite excited that Canon was getting into waterproof cameras.
The camera is great - great images, easy to use, great video, etc. But water leaked in rather quickly and at about 8 feet in a pool and then later in the ocean.
Each time it leaked, the LCD display would go off and there was water in the lens area. I was able to leave it alone for a few days each time and it would "repair itself" as it dried out. But this last time (the third time) it refused to turn on any longer. So I begrudgingly sent it in.
It's been about ten days now and I got my camera back today - a new one! I think it may be slightly updated as well. I'm very excited to have it back; it has come with perfect timing.
So yes, I do actually recommend this camera (despite the leaks) because Canon handled it well and it really is a great item. |
