Many people who purchase a Samsung system are frustrated with their 3D experience. They often say that when they watch Monsters vs. Aliens the 3D experience is underwhelming. I initially was one of these users. I watched the movie on my new UN46C7000, C6900 3D Blu-Ray, and the 3D starter kit. I saw little of the blurring others reviewers mentioned but I did see some (mostly in the background of heavily detailed scenes). It never seemed to "pop" off the screen. I got the package on promo for 1700.00 so it was actually cheaper than last years model without 3D. I wouldn't have complained but I felt like I just got last years model with a "gimick".
My review at this point would have been 2-3 stars overall. Few 3D titles, decent quality glasses, and decent 3D experience. However, I purchase Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and let me tell you, if future 3D Blu-Rays are this "wow" I'm sold. The depth, color, clarity, and 3D effect were unbelievable. I would say the 3D experience is a 5 star experience now. No wonder Sony TV's are getting better 3D reviews.
The glasses seem like they are decent. They seem to do their job.
Pros: Glasses are decent quality, often thrown in for free, ligh weight, fit over glasses, and give a great effect.
Cons: Little can be done but wearer has to be sitting up (no laying down but hey, u can't do that in a theatre either), very few titles, battery life, slight headache after watching 2+ hours (my limit seems to be 1 movie). |

Received this Kingston 19-in-1 Reader today (07/27/10) from Amazon. Opened it up, read the brief instructions (no software required for Windows XP), and plugged it in (to good Dell XPS desktop). Everything seemed to work:
- When attached, four new removable drives appeared under "My Computer" on Desktop Explorer.
- It seemed to read Sony Memory Sticks, Canon Flash Cards, SanDisk SD and microSD cards, and generic versions with ease.
- I was even able to rename the drives within Desktop Explorer so that I could see which drive went with which port on the Kingston device.
But within minutes it stopped being able to read the Sony and Lexar memory sticks. I peered into the MS/DUO slot (the one that takes a Memory Stick) with a magnifying florescent light and could see that one of the gold contacts was either broken or melted off. Not good. That port was shot.
I immediately contacted Amazon online, asked to return the item for exchange, and quickly received both a printable UPS address label and assurance that a new Kingston Reader would be sent. So my complaint is not with Amazon. GREAT SERVICE BY AMAZON!
But we'll see if this was a one-time thing. I'm afraid that for only $13 you get what you pay for, but I had hoped for something more durable. Be sure to check all the other critical comments carefully. Despite many good comments, there are still several bad ones. Quality control at the factory in China? If the replacement behaves I will put in a followup comment. |

i bought this ram on sunday and i got it midday on tuesday, and i dropped it inside my lt2030u, no instaltion required just poped in, and imediate performance improvement, looked at my system and it recognized 2gb of ram, it helped my netbooks performance by about 150%, and not exagerating, i love it, instalation took about 1 min, and the difference is dramatic, it runs as fast as my brothers desk top with the same 2gb ram and a dual core AMD, i would definetly recomend this to anyone, just what i needed |

Hopefully this review will keep others from expecting the Panasonic DMP-BD85K WiFi Enabled Blu-Ray Disc Player to have features that it does not. To be fair, the item description never stated the device came with these features. It works well in terms of playing DVDs and has great picture and sound quality. However it does not play files from hard drives well. My other Blu-Ray player (Samsung) can wirelessly play mp3s from other computers and hard drives connected to my network. This player connects to the wireless network through the access point, so it can not. I hope some day Panasonic will add this ability through a firmware update. Also while it plays from USB thumb drives, it was not able to play mp3s from my USB hard drive. |

i have two cd/dvd buners and three cd burning software programs. the programs are windows media player,nero srart smart and roxio. the burners are a standard cd burner and a sony drive. the only program that would burn music or pictures was roxio and the only drive that would work was sony. because i can burn music and pictures i'll keep the cd's but i won;t buy more of them not your fault, its mine for not doing more research.
